I went to visit in here and I very satisfied to all GSA and a guy, who is housekeeper and bring me a microwave , very nice to guests. Nice room and smell good too. Housekeeper are very good to keep all area clean , specifying room, hallway, and elevator 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. Everything was really fast service when I texted to request something I need . Restaurant inside hotel is nice and good taste good too. I tried steak 🥩 and very tasty 😋.
Good location to walk and go sightseeing around downtown. 👍🏻👍🏻 will be back for next time and introduce to friends 👍🏻 thank you for all staff that make guest happy during the stay.

Conveniently located in the Financial district of the central loop, this hotel is about a 10-13 minute walk to the next L station. The front desk was courteous and friendly. They have an easy self-check in process. Rating four stars because for the money, the amenities did not match. There was no refrigerator in the room, and very minimal extra things like towels and soaps. It is a very minimalist type place. So if you're just looking to be out all day in the city and crash at night? This is your place. The rooms are very small, so be cautious when booking with several people or children. They also have a makeshift door out front that is sort of hard to open. I felt the room could have been a tad cleaner but if I had to, I'd stay here again.

This property was not I expected at all. The ratings show 4 star but I have no clue how they received that rating. At best I would give it a 2 star. I live in Michigan, and did a road trip to Chicago with expectations of having fun and sleeping in a clean hotel since I paid $200 plus for one night stay. When entering the room it was dust everywhere on the alarm clocks and phones. There was cockroach smashed on the wall in the bathroom. The toilet seat was not cleaned so I had to use it as I would in a public bathroom. There was burn marks and stitching falling apart on the comforter of the bed. I called for assistance three times from room service to receive clean bedding and comforter. I was brought smelly and unclean bedding every time. The third time I was given some itchy stinky blankets. The only positive was parking which was a 6 min walk to the alley but it was $25 a night. The stay in the room was horrific! I advise you to not book a stay here if your visiting Chicago!
Also I forgot to mention that I couldn’t even take a shower without the smoke alarms going off. I was better off sleeping in my car.

Recently stayed here for a girls trip. The hotel is beautiful. The area was a nicer area and we felt safe. There were many stores and restaurants around. We weren’t too far from anything. The rooms were so clean! The room was also very large which we appreciated being 4 girls in a room with large luggage. We never felt cramped. The indoor pool and hot tub was a nice addition. We enjoyed it! Security was very helpful. Staff was very pleasant. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Comfortably-furnished room, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and pandemic precautions were in place. On-site Italian restaurant served excellent cuisine delivered with exceptional service.

It is the world's most rich inn! It was a flawless, glimmering climate. It can deal with of all shapes and sizes bunches the same. It's been a magnificent spot for me to recuperate. Very nice stay for 2 nights. We got very nice room facing the Monroe strt. The room has large windows where you can soak in the sunlight in the morning. Rooms were clean and large enough space. Breakfast was fine too. They have 2 computers and printers for business purpose, which was very helpful. Only issue I had is that if you want tap water then you need to come to the lobby floor, or else you have to buy bottles of water.

First of all, this place had the most wonderful staff I have ever encountered! Being from out of town, every worker made me like I was just at home, especially one in particular. I believe her name is Porchia, and she needs a raise ASAP! I ran into some problems checking in, and she was so patient and kind dealing with them. She had the best customer service I've ever seen, as she was so wonderful and sweet with everything! She recommended places and reassured me of any doubts. Secondly, the rooms were great and clean, the breakfast was delicious, and it is such an amazing location for walking! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!

My wife Lisa and I had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn Majestic Chicago Theatre District September 24. We attended a wedding on September 25 a 10 minutes Uber drive to the Church for the wedding, and the reception was about 0.2 mile from the hotel.
We were greeted by Robyn with a BIG Smile very personable, she provided us a wonderful check-in experience - one of the BEST we have ever had in our 30+ years of traveling! Oscar who took over the main desk after Robyn left for the evening was also very personable and helpful in helping us check-out and providing us information about where to get something to eat and more. He also provided us with a parking checkout code since after out late checkout at 1:00pm our original parking code expired at 5:00pm September 25, so for the small fee of $20 he issued us a parking code good to September 26 as we were not leaving the Wedding Reception until 10:00pm or a bit after to travel back home to central Indiana. Thank you Robyn and Oscar, and the Hampton Inn Majestic, we will definitely stay at the Majestic again!

The service was superior -- bar restaurant, checking and maid service. The rooms are good. One thing to remember when you get your plastic key, When you get in the elevator you need to place the key in the black little square at the top of the panel and then press your room. Try the restaurant for breakfast. It is as good as you get.

In the heart of downtown Chicago. Walking distance to public transportation (loop access less than a block, longer distance via standard rail access a couple of blocks away).
Has an upgraded option to get a bed in a suite with a shower, bathroom, kitchen, and mini common room. My suite had an electric strove, but no burners attached, so keep that in mind if planning on attempting to cook.
Open 24/7/365. Off hours require you to buzz in or use a suit/room card for access.

We have said at this hostel several times when In Chicago. It is conveniently located a few blocks from Grant Park right off Michigan Avenue. There is easy access to the bus stops and subway. We have stayed in a private room every trip, the rooms are basic, but perfect for anybody not looking to spend long hours in a hotel room. There is a nice breakfast in the morning.

The location was my main reason for picking the hotel. The property far surpassed my expectations the room was appointed so well. Unbelievably quiet and extremely comfortable. The staff checking in and out were outstanding. A special shout-out to Enrique for holding on to our luggage for a few hours after checkout and recommending a wonderful restaurant for lunch. We will come back there.

So so wonderful. Literally half a block from EVERYWHERE we needed to go. The room was so spacious and comfortable, we WANTED to spend more time in it. But the staff was even better. Beverly at the front desk was amazing when we checked in (even though we were completely exhausted from a red eye) and was just as friendly and helpful throughout our whole stay. Also, greatly helpful we’re Anastasia at the front desk and Enrique at the door. I’m highly recommending the Silversmith for any friends of mine who have to travel to Chicago.

Let me tell you that this hotel and staff has set the bar for every hotel I will ever stay in. This was, BY FAR, the best experience I have ever had! The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome! Everything was clean and these beds were the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept in - even better than more expensive hotels we've been to. I will absolutely stay here every time I travel to Chicago. Also... I chose this hotel for the historical aspect which was equally impressive. So pretty.

This was my first time staying here. The hotel is in a historic building and there are physical keys. The rooms were clean, well laid out, with coffee and water. The price was very reasonable. Staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions and the valet parking was very much appreciated in downtown Chicago. I will definitely stay here again.

I loved looking at the architecture in this hotel. It is an old building and each door has a key. COSTS $50 IF YOU LOSE THE KEY. They have to change the locks. The rooms were small and cozy. The beds were so comfortable. The location is really nice as it is next to Macy’s and Chriskindlmart. Although I would really like to give a perfect review, the elevators were extremely finicky and would close, just to open back up and the lights even went off one time. Only the one elevator worked and I often spent 5-10 minutes waiting for the elevator. Sometimes I took the stairs instead. Of course, you have to understand it’s an old building and they try to preserve the old architecture. Other than that, the facility and service is nice. Each night you get $10 to spend on snacks and candy or at the bar.

Booked a nights stay and had to cancel well in advance but credit card was still charged for the room. 6 phone calls later to this hotel for documentation that this reservation was cancelled with no help what so ever from them. Surprise! Clean and quite room that wasn't expensive! Pleasantly surprising. Take a nice stroll on over to Buckingham Fountain to enjoy the night air and breathtaking skyline view from Grant Park😁 Or walk a few blocks south on Michigan to Roosevelt and have some Aurelio's Pizza. Once you've retired to the modest accommodations you've taken up in this historic treasure, let the smooth familiar sounds of the Elevated Train cares you asleep. I think a hotel that has a dinner style restaurant serving traditional breakfast is a cut above. So don't worry, you are surrounded by delicious food in every direction😂😅! My kinda Town📍

An easy walk from Union Station to the hotel. Very clean hotel friendly and helpful front desk staff. My wife and I stayed here for two nights while attending two different stage performances and also took in some other holiday activities that were going on in the area. The breakfast during these COVID times was still more than we planned for, for a grab and go breakfast. The hotel room and bathroom were very clean and well maintained. We would stay here again.

I definitely enjoyed staying here for my birthday weekend to myself last week. From checking in to housekeeping being sweet and friendly(Kim was so sweet). I didn't have any problems with my stay expect I did get awaken by construction near by but it eventually stopped and I was fine. Love the view of my room and the beds are so comfortable. I did notice that there were no slippers like the app/website states which was fine and I brought my own water since I know COVID and things are closed so it didn't bother me. Will visit again!

We came to Blackstone hotel on our wedding day with our service dogs who are 5 lbs each. (one of which who was a 16 year old senior who has passed) The hotel charged us for our 2 five lb service dogs. I am disabled. I take my service dogs everywhere and never have an issue. I am just seeing the bill now. I will be reaching out to corporate because everyone has an off night but the Blackstone's staff was consistently rude throughout our entire stay! The front desk staff didn't call the tell us our dinner had been delivered and when I went downstairs to check on my delivery the front desk clerk smirked and commented it was down their for a "long time" ... The next morning as we were leaving the room our cold breakfast was sitting outside our room door on the floor. No one told us it was there! I wasn't going to write a review but the service dog charge in addition to the rude comments by the staff needs to be addressed. As we left the front desk clerk laughed as she sarcastically said she hopes she did not ruin our wedding day. My husband is an ER physician and we are both aware of protocol regarding customer service. The staff wouldn't let us know if our meals had arrived when we called downstairs. They would say they didn't know. When I went down to the lobby I would find cold food and the front desk clerk laughed about this. The service dog charges need to be refunded ASAP.

Really beautiful hotel. Everywhere is just gorgeous. Our room was clean, well-detailed, and the bathroom area was just amazing - was almost as big as the bedroom itself. Its right across from Grant Park so its within walking distance of just about everything you want to see in that part of town. To make parking really easy, just down a block behind the hotel is a parking lot we just used for the weekend for a really cheap rate as well. Ended up just walking everywhere!
Would definitely stay here again!

We had an overnight stay at the Allegro Royal Sonesta, and it was a wonderful time! The hotel is beautiful, with a classy art deco style. The lobby is spacious with many seating areas, a bar, and a lovely ballroom area that we got to peer into as there was a wedding going on during our stay. The employees were very enthusiastic and welcoming. The bellhop who greeted us was very kind and helpful, and Jacob at the front desk made sure we were taken care of throughout our entire stay. The room was nicely decorated to match the decor of the lobby and the beds were comfortable, though we needed to ask for more pillows, which the front desk sent up to us right away! Our view wasn't the greatest (office buildings and apartments), but we were able to see the El trains going by, which was neat, and it wasn't loud when we were trying to sleep. The hotel is in a great area - steps away from the Cadillac Palace and a Starbucks on the corner, with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Walking distance from Daley Plaza and we were able to walk to Millennium Park and the Riverwalk, though it was a bit of a longer trek. Overall, our stay was amazing, and we were very pleased with the helpfulness of the staff and the proximity it gave us to so many great Chicago locations! If you plan to stay here, make sure to check out the pints of Ida B's ice cream available at the front desk - it was some of the best ice cream I've ever had and a great sweet treat to end the night!

We really enjoyed our stay here over the weekend. Julius D at the front desk was extremely helpful, friendly, and very accommodating. He was such a pleasure to meet and chat with. Our room was very nice, clean and quiet at night. The comfort food at the restaurant was pretty good and also had an enjoyable time at the lobby bar later in the evening. I didn't catch our waiter's name but he too was very friendly and attentive. We were able to reserve a time slot for the pool area that the kids enjoyed. Overall, very pleased with the hotel and would look to stay here again in the future.

Location, cleanliness, hospitality, beauty - this hotel checks every box for us. We have stayed at the Hilton Chicago several times and become more impressed each time. The rich history, the opulent beauty, and decor, the convenience, and the cleanliness are all reasons why we've returned to this hotel. We also love the availability of two-bathroom hotel rooms which are mega-convenient when traveling with teenagers!! We will definitely stay again on our frequent trips to Chicago and confidently recommend this hotel to others.

This is a top notch hotel and so beautifully decorated for the holidays. The staff is kind and helpful-every staff member we spoke with. This is not common unfortunately. The rooms are clean and the amenities are impressive. We loved the pool and hot tubs. The workout area is also great, but we didn't use it. A walking track? Very cool. There is Starbucks coffee and many options for snacks or a sandwich. Kitty O'Shea's has a great menu-we ordered and picked it up without leaving the hotel.
There was security at the front of the hotel which was a plus. It is a perfect distance to walk to the museums or different restaurants. We would recommend to anyone-with or without kids! We will definitely stay again.

Spent four fabulous day at Chicago and this hotel was perfect location to see all downtown Chicago. Victoria and Roland/Randolph ( my apologies for not remembering his name correctly) at the Front Desk were amazing! They gave me tips to scout around the city and also were very helpful when I needed something. Rooms were very clean and spacious.
At the restaurant all servers were awesome! Special mention to Joel, great service. Breakfast was so delicious. I wish they can open the restaurant later, I could not find a restaurant near to get a bite after 10pm.
Will Definitely recommend!

The suite was really nice. We ended up getting the suite and the attached room next to it. Everything was super nice as were all of the employees and everything was super clean. The only thing was the lack of glass ware in the suite itself. It was comical as there was SO much cabinet space just to house two glasses. We ended up having to use the paper coffee cups as there were six of us which forced us to have to purchase coffee the next morning. We would totally stay there again upon our next adventure to the city.

Older hotel, but clean and in a great location. Front desk staff were all very welcoming and helpful. We loved our stay in Chicago!

The hotel is undergoing a noisy renovation and we got a very noisy wakeup at 9:30 am to loud drilling and banging sounds. Got a major headache, the main lobby people said we should have seen it notice of this on website and in lobby, we did not see it and we paid full price of 300 for this, parking was an extra 50 as well and they have no shame in charging you or having you suffer through their renovation, it should be closed

We stay at Holiday Inn's because they have a decent level of consistency no matter where you go. This place falls well below that standard.
The good: there were a few nice front desk ladies who greeted us when we came in and usually unlocked the door when we came in at night so we didn't have to use our key cards.
The bad: we ordered an Amazon food deliver and the front desk lady refused to put it behind the desk and instead left it in the front lobby chair and told me I had to come down and get it at 5am when they dropped it off. Really?!?!
The room was dirty and there was a long black hair on the wall of our shower. And there was no wash clothes in the room. See picture of the shower.
When we left one morning there was a live cockroach in one of the elevators. See picture.
If you're looking for Holiday Inn standards, this place isn't it.

Recent stay at this historical hotel. We had a lovely experience . We were greeted with smiles upon arrival. We didn’t need to drag our luggage all the way up to check -in . The beds were very comfortable and with an upgrade to a 2 bed room with 2 bathroom suite for a very minimal charge our trip was even better. Housekeeping also graciously provided us a microwave and a few requested dishes. We had a delicious casual meal in the lobby one evening with one of their signature cocktails the “ Palmer House Brownie Old Fashion “ for dessert. Note the brownie was first invented at this hotel in 1893❣️

Such a beautiful, historic hotel! If you do nothing else, visit the lobby and have one of the friendliest bartenders serve you one of their delicious cocktails.
Rooms on exec floors are large - mine had a walk-in closet! Shower seems to be recently upgraded - nice new fixtures.
Not the most comfy bed - a bit soft and saggy - but better than many. Suspect it is on the list for upcoming refresh.

I'm a local Chicagoan and have visited and stayed in many of our hotels. I hadn't spent that much time in the Palmer House as a guest until this weekend. Everything was pretty incredible for a non-luxury/upscale hotel. Common spaces are amazing, rooms nice, modern and clean - the pool and gym are incredibly nice for this kind of hotel. And the location, history, intangibles make this a really wonderful place to spend your time in our city.

Our stay at the Kimpton Monaco Hotel was flawless. Everyone was nice, friendly and professional. They served complimentary wine, tea and coffee from 5pm to 6pm daily. The meals in the restaurant were delicious. The room was very clean with a beautiful Riverwalk view. Antonio and Hector were the best.. They were so knowledgeable about downtown Chicago and helped us safely get to our destinations throughout our stay. We can't wait to return.

This hotel went above and beyond our expectations!!! Their sales manager, Austin, was so quick to respond to our requests and emails before during and after our event and stay there. Valet parking was in transition and not ideal but they worked so hard to ensure our guests had a good experience none the less. The hotel is just adorable and so accommodating. The free coffee and wine reception were the prime example of midwest hospitality! Thanks you Kimpton Hotel Monaco Chicago!!

I stay here every time i'm in town for business. Hotel Monaco offers one of the friendliest and most personalized services that I've ever experienced. The staff is attentive and always willing to help in any way that they can. They really make you feel like you're at home.

Massive. Well curated. Great variety. Walks of all life. Good value.
I went in with an open mind and not quite sure what to expect. After one hour I had explored just the ground floor. After 3 more hours I had swiftly explored and pondered through the other floors.
The modern art area was by far my favorite!
If you're unsure about coming, please let this be the sign you were looking for.

Life-Changing. I'm a museum nerd, I have gone to the Prado in Madrid, The New York Met, the LA county Museum of Art.
This one floored me. Its the best museum I have ever been to.
As I walked through the galleries, I began to softly shed tears of joy numerous times. It kept happening, again and again.
The experience was otherworldly. I had no idea many of the works I saw were actually in the museum. It was like flipping through a picture book of, "Famous artworks," only they were there in front of me.
One can learn a graduate level class worth of art history by simply visiting on a slow day and paying close attention.
On top of that, the artwork is expertly displayed, in beautiful buildings and galleries. And you simply know that it really is the best that the world has to offer.
At the Chicago Institute of art, I am not a solitary individual. No, instead I'm part of a glorious, planetary-wide tradition, spanning multiple millennia.

This is an excellent museum; perhaps the best in the Midwest! You can read all the other reviews for the highlights (and my god, there are some great masterpieces here)! I have to say, though, my favorite exhibit is the pottery. They have an enormous collection of ancient Chinese pottery—something about the smooth lines, the gorgeous glazes, and the sweeping curves… it just does it for me! You could spend all day in here, easily, and admission is well worth the price!
